Subtitle: Dividend payment of EUR 0.04 per share Dividend payout confirms the companys positive business development
Cuxhaven (euro adhoc) - 19th May 2011 - This year, the shareholders of the project developer, PNE WIND AG (ISIN DE000A0JBPG2), will receive a dividend amounting to EUR 0.04 per qualifying share. This resolution has now been passed by the Annual General Meeting, which thus approved the proposal of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board.
The company was able to record a significantly positive result for the financial year 2010. The balance sheet profit reported in PNE WIND AGs annual accounts in 2010 (according to HGB - German Commercial Code) was EUR 4.1 million. About EUR 2.3 million of this will be carried forward. About EUR 1.8 million - at 45,775,826 shares eligible for dividend - will be distributed as a dividend to the shareholders in accordance with the majority resolution.
"This positive result endorses our strategy for growth through the expansion of our core business project development of national and international on- and offshore wind farms. In the past financial year we have made particularly great progress due to our intensified activities in offshore wind farms and our expansion into dynamic growth markets. We would also like our shareholders to participate appropriately in this positive company development", said Martin Billhardt, CEO of PNE WIND AG.
The Annual General Meeting also approved all other resolutions including the re-election of the past Supervisory Board members with a majority of over 90% in each case.

PNE WIND AG with its headquarters in Cuxhaven develops and implements wind farm projects on land (onshore) and at high sea (offshore). Its core competence is the development, planning, implementation and financing of wind farms and their operation or sale including subsequent service. So far, the company has set up 97 wind farms with 563 wind energy systems and a total nominal output of 804 MW.
Alongside its business activities in the established German home market, PNE WIND AG is also increasingly investing in dynamic growth markets and has subsidiaries and representations via joint ventures in Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, the UK, USA and Canada. Wind farm projects with a nominal output of about 3,725 MW are currently being processed in these countries and are to be implemented in the medium term. Furthermore, PNE WIND AG develops offshore wind farm projects, three of which have already been approved in German waters. Entering promising foreign markets is also being examined for the offshore area.
