Symrise AG plans to issue its first bond. The company intends to take advantage of the currently favorable market environment and plans to refinance existing financial debt in the context of a comprehensive refinancing approach.
Symrise plans to meet institutional investors during a roadshow in major European financial centers scheduled for October 11th through 13th. UniCredit, Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank have been appointed as Lead Managers for the transaction.
Bernd Hirsch, Chief Financial Officer of Symrise AG, said: "The planned bond issue is an important step of our financing activities. In spring of this year we announced that we planned to optimize our financing at the appropriate time on a longer-term basis. The capital market environment is favorable, and a bond allows us to tap another source of financing for Symrise. We are convinced that our profitability, our robust cash flow and our solid equity basis will attract great interest."
Symrise intends to supplement the planned bond issue by further refinancing measures with the objective to refinance a total of 550 million EUR debt which are due at the end of 2011.
