München (euro adhoc) - Munich-based Data Modul AG, the European market leader in
the field  of  display
technology, ended 2011 with substantial improvements in revenue and profit  over
2010. This is based also on the consequent  implementation  of  the  innovation-
and internationalization strategy with strengthened focus on  display  solutions
and embedded computer.

The revenues in 2011 increased by 18.3 % to 140.9  million  euros  (2010:  119.1
million  euros).  The  significant  increase  is  generated  in  both   business
segments. The export ratio reached 36.0 % (2010: 33.8 %). The EBIT increased  by
53.0 % to 10.1 million euros. The annual net income jumped 100 % to 7.6  million
euros translating into earnings per share of 2.16  euros  in  2011  (2010:  1.11
euros). At the Annual Shareholders' Meeting on May 9, 2012, the Executive  Board
and Supervisory Board will propose to distribute a cash dividend of 0.60 euros.

We are convinced, that the future course of business will be sustainable
positive. To match the demands of our customers for customer specific system
solutions and value added, we increased our research and development costs by
25 % compared to the previous year. The main target course of our activities is
further focusing on the display and system business.

For the current year we have, due to the recently weaker economic environment,
a conservative planning  and therefore expect only a slight increase in
revenues.
