The Executive Council of Canton Bern has brought in new regulations for the representation of Canton Bern at Berner Oberland-Bahnen AG. Stephanie Dübi has been delegated to serve on the executive board of the railway for a term of 4 years in place of Jürg von Kanel , the former Director of the Swiss Office for Transport. Jurg von Kanel has been a member of the BOB executive board since 1992. Stephanie Dübi, a lawyer from Bern, works in the Cantonal Department of Planning, Transport and Energy, where she is responsible for preparing proposals to the Cantonal Parliament and Executive Council. The change will take place on 1 January 2011.
