(Wettenberg, April 14,2011) - PVA TePla AG, Wettenberg, a manufacturer of systems for the crystallization of silicon and of vacuum and high-temperature systems, has received today an order from an Asian solar manufacturer to supply systems for the production of monocrystalline silicon ingots with an order value over EUR 20 million. The order will be processed by the end of 2011/beginning 2012.
This is the first order for crystal growing systems that the Solar Systems divi-sion has received from that Asian company. In this case, SolarCrystallizer systems for the crystallization of monocrystalline silicon ingots will be deliv-ered. Decisive from the customer´s point of view was the high productivity of the systems, which was ascertained as part of the cost of ownership analysis. A key factor was also the ability to ensure industrial crystal growing, starting from the planning phase through to series production.
