FashionTV International is proud to announce the launch of FashionTV on Europe's
Satellite hot spot Astra 19° East in cooperation with SPAIN MEDIA Television
S.L. publishers of Harper's Bazaar, Esquire and Robb's Report in Spain.
Technical facilities ranging fromplay out, programming, andto delivery to the
Astra uplink in Betzdorf, Luxembourg are managed by market leader RRsat.
The International Channel will include up to 20 percent Spanish content, and the
best of the international Fashion TV content for more than 44 million Western
European Astra 19° Satellite homes in Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria,
Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland and Germany.
The channel will promote leading Spanish luxury brands such as Andres Sarda,
Loewe, Zara, and Mango to the Western European public. Spanish Top Models will
be promoted, as their fashion shows, campaigns and behind the scenes will be
filmed and popularized. Additionally fashionable and trendy tourist destinations
such as Ibiza, Madrid, Barcelona and Mallorca, top fashion destinations visited
by 55 million tourists in 2011 alone, alongside with world-known clubs and
Spanish will be introduced and shown to the audiences.
The channel will furthermore enable a mix of sports and fashion following the
Spanish Champions of European and World Football and Spanish race car drivers
like Fernando Alonso into the world of fashion and sports.
Viewers will be able to experience international content with a percentage of
Spanish content by viewing the world and lifestyle of Spanish nightclubs, music,
sports, and fashion, a world previously not that visible to the western and
international community.
