Media Advisory - Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Visit Tsuut'ina First Nation

On behalf of the elders, Council and people of the Tsuut'ina First Nation, Chief Roy Whitney is pleased to announce that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has accepted an invitation to formally meet with and be briefed on First Nations issues by the Tsuut'ina First Nation. Tsuut'ina will honour the Prime Minister by bestowing a ceremonial headdress. Assembly of First Nations Chief Perry Bellegarde will also be in attendance for this historic event and will also receive a headdress.
The visit will occur on Friday March 4th , 2016. International media are invited to express interest in interviews with Tsuut'ina representatives on aboriginal issues, or for photos or b-roll of the event.
