/ Oliver Lang appointed as new CEO of ONE Insurance / Mr Lang takes over from Stephan Ommerborn on 1 June / Mr Lang has 20 years' experience working in technology and insurance / wefox Group recently announced a series B round of $125m - the largest for a European insurtech / wefox Group - the parent company of ONE Insurance and wefox - is Europe's leading insurtech company
Oliver Lang has been appointed the new CEO of ONE Insurance (subject to the approval of the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority, FMA), which is part of the wefox Group. Mr Lang, 47, will take over from Stephan Ommerborn on 1 June.
Mr Ommerborn made the decision to step down as the CEO of ONE to pursue new challenges, however he will remain a shareholder and supporter.
Julian Teicke, CEO of wefox Group, which is the parent company of ONE and wefox, said: "Stephan has been instrumental in building a solid foundation for ONE and led a very demanding and successful start-up phase for which I am very grateful and I wish him all the best for the future."

Mr Lang has over 20 years' experience in business management working at the intersection of insurance and technology. Prior to joining ONE Insurance, Mr Lang was the founder and CEO of 3C, which specialised in building fintech and insurtech businesses. Earlier in his career, Mr Lang was the Global Head of Risk Management at Converium and prior to that he worked at McKinsey as an associate principal.
