Winter flight schedule 2022/2023: Heading for new destinations
At EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, the new 2022/2023 winter flight schedule will come into effect with the changeover to winter time on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Valid until March 25, 2023, it will feature 70 destinations in 30 countries in Europe and the Mediterranean region via direct flights offered by a total of 21 airlines.
EuroAirport is a regional hub for direct flights within Europe and to the Mediterranean region. The winter flight schedule 2022/2023 (valid until March 25, 2023) offers 70 destinations via direct flights out of EuroAirport. The range of offers consists, among others, of flight destinations within Europe that are located in Spain, France, Italy, Great Britain and Turkey as well as destinations in North Africa such as Morocco, Egypt and Algeria.
Several new flight destinations will be introduced at EuroAirport during this winter season. EasyJet will provide a new flight connection to Marseille with two rotations per week. Air Algérie serves Algiers twice and Constantine three times a week. In parallel, ASL Airlines offers a weekly flight to Algiers as well. As for the company Wizz Air, it will introduce new connections to Iasi and Chisinau twice a week. As of December 6, thanks to Wizz Air, the city of Rome will be connected to Basel-Mulhouse Airport via three weekly flights, in addition to already existing offers provided by easyJet. Starting on March 14, 2023, Nouvelair will connect EuroAirport to the capital of Tunisia, Tunis. Flights are operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays in order to meet the demand in the business, leisure and tourist sectors.
Furthermore, several airlines continue to provide offers that can be combined with attractive connecting flights out of their international hubs: Aegean Airlines (Athens), Air France (Paris), Austrian Airlines (Vienna), British Airways (London), KLM (Amsterdam), Lufthansa (Frankfurt and Munich), Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines (Istanbul) as well as Vueling (Barcelona).
Depending on the development of the pandemic, further restrictions on travel conditions cannot be ruled out. We recommend to arrive sufficiently early at the Airport in order to avoid potential long waiting times in the check-in zone and at security checkpoints.
The new flight schedule is available on the Airport’s website. Flight destinations, available airlines and flight frequencies are regularly updated: Our Destinations | EuroAirport
