The year 2022 was a challenging one. After two years of pandemic and a weak first quarter in 2022, Basel-Mulhouse Airport welcomed a total of 7 million passengers at the end of 2022. Therefore, compared to 2021, the number of passengers practically doubled. This strong economic recovery, paired with a favourable impact of the Swiss franc exchange rate, had a positive influence on the Airport’s financial results.
Here are the main financial key figures:
- Annual turnover: 149.9 M€ (104.5 M€ in 2021)
- EBITDA: 60.8 M€ (34.2 M€ in 2021)
- Net result: 28.4 M€ (4.5 M€ in 2021)
