What AbaConcerts is

AbaConcerts creates a professional stage and offers talented musicians the opportunity to perform live.

The Covid-safe connection via livestreaming to national and international audiences is a concrete help to support and keep the music scene and culture alive in these challenging times.

Producer Elizabeth Escamilla, in cooperation with Abacus as sponsor, is organizing 10 live-streamed concerts that will take place over the course of 2 months. Musicians performing in the Abacus Concert Hall will have everything they need to make their live performance an experience: stage, technical equipment, professional crew for sound, image, video and livestream technology.

In addition, all artists will receive compensation for their performance.

Audiences in Switzerland and around the world are invited to watch and enjoy the concerts as guests free of charge.

How the project was born

The music scene is at a complete standstill, the covid pandemic has robbed countless musicians of the opportunity to perform live. The impact on artists' incomes and futures has been severe in some cases.

With AbaConcerts, Elizabeth Escamilla wants to set an example by offering a concrete contribution to alleviate this situation. AbaConcerts aims to help musicians stay connected with their fans through Covid-safe live concerts and also open access to a wider audience.

More details about the project are told by Elizabeth Escamilla herself in this short video:
