Wiener Städtische is selling about 47% of the share in Kapital & Wert
Vermögensverwaltung Aktiengesellschaft (ISIN: AT0000741301) to
KERBLER & KOWAR Holding GmbH. The sales price amounts to EUR 11.0 per
share and thus corresponds to the current price level of the Kapital
& Wert share at the Vienna Stock Exchange. Wiener Städtische will
further hold a stake of about 3% in Kapital & Wert AG.

Says Günter Geyer, CEO of Wiener Städtische: "This is another step in
line with our long-term strategy to focus on the insurance business
and to hold a stake of only 1 to 10% in excellent listed companies."
