Eindhoven,.November 27, 2002 - aeco N.V. issues 10% of new shares for
cash with a nominal value of Euro 0,10 per share, whereby pre-emptive
rights are excluded. In total 649.000 new shares are issued. All
shares are underwritten by the bank managing the transaction with the
objective to place the shares to strategic investors and management.

The capital increase will strengthen the financial base of the
company.
