In 2007/08, which was by far the most successful financial year in 
its history, the voestalpine Group soared to new heights in terms of 
sales, profit and employees. In addition to a further increase in 
sales, operating profit rose significantly for the sixth year in a 
row due to improved performance in the Steel, Profilform and 
Automotive Divisions.
