The local fire fighting brigades have extinguished the fire. Measurements of the fire fighting brigades have shown no health risks for the people in the vicinity of the factory. Two employees who have inhaled fumes were sent to hospital for precautionary checks. They have been released safe a couple of hours later. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The production in Willstätt has been stopped today. Leclanché has activated the contingency plans in place and is confident to meet all its delivery commitments to customers.
