Stuttgart, May 14, 2003 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading providers of electronic procurement solutions, is publishing its results for the second quarter per March 31, 2003, today.
Group sales in the second quarter of fiscal 2002/03 were 0.87 million Euro, at the level of the previous year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) improved from -1.32 million Euro to -0.99 million Euro. The cashflow was 0.21 million Euro, the first time it has been positive since the company went public in November 2000 (previous year: -0.67 million Euro).
In the first half of 2002/03, group sales increased to 3.07 million Euro from 2.10 million Euro in the previous year (+ 46%). The EBIT improved from -2.26 million Euro to -0.74 million Euro.
With shareholders equity of 24.6 million Euro or 2.24 Euro per share (equivalent to 94 % of total assets) and cash and cash equivalents of 20.8 million Euro, Heiler Software AGs financial situation remains extremely solid.
