Hamburg, 2004-07-01 - PANDATEL AG, a copper line and optical fiber network access and transmission specialist, has expanded its management board after acquiring 100 % of Lightmaze Solutions AG. With immediate effect, Dr.-Ing. Elke Jahn, CEO of Lightmaze Solutions AG, and Dr.-Ing. Niraj Agrawal, CTO of Lightmaze Solutions AG, have joined the management board of PANDATEL AG.
Norbert Wienck remains Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will continue the corporate restructuring initiated earlier. Dr.-Ing. Elke Jahn has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for marketing, service, and sales. Dr.-Ing. Niraj Agrawal has been appointed Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and will be responsible for Research and Development (R&D).
Lightmaze Solutions AG develops, produces and markets intelligent optical networking platforms based on its cutting-edge technology for the SAN, Metro and Enterprise market segments. PANDATEL AG hereby strongly enhances and enriches its optical networking product palette by incorporating the products of Lightmaze Solutions AG into its portfolio and offerings. Due to the combination of PANDATELs own products with Lightmazes YUMIX 4ooo series, for the first time, PANDATEL is able to offer its Telecom and Storage customers a complete set of solutions that are not only highly cost-effective but also most powerful in the industry.
