e-m-s new media AG with strong gains on a dynamically growing market (E)

As expected, e-m-s new media AG (WKN 521280/ISIN DE0005212807)
increased Group turnover by 22% to EUR9.17 million in the first half
of 2004.

The Management Board reaffirms the turnover and earnings predictions
for the entire year 2004 which were presented recently at the Annual
General Meeting at the beginning of June. Accordingly, an increase in
Group turnover of at least 30% to more than EUR19 million and, as a
minimum, a doubling of the EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes)
to more than EUR2.6 million are expected.

Many promising new releases such as the drama "Monster" with this
year’s Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron in the leading role will
give business a sustained push in the second half of the year.

The complete quarterly report will be published in the middle of
August.
