Registrations Being Accepted for Subscription to the 'EXPO 2005 AICHI, JAPAN E-mail Newsletter'

From next week EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan will start. As the first world exposition to be held in the 21st century, the aim of EXPO 2005 is to raise the various global issues that are shared by humankind, gather the wisdom of the world and play a part in the creation of a sustainable future for the Earth in which there is harmony between nature and humanity.
The Japan Association for the 2005 World Exposition is currently distributing the "EXPO 2005 AICHI, JAPAN E-mail Newsletter" for the international press. The newsletter is issued every other Wednesday (JST) in two formats (text and HTML) and six languages (English, Spanish, French, Chinese (simplified Chinese), Korean and Japanese).
The newsletter provides useful and visual information concerning the various appealing aspects of EXPO 2005. Each issue consists of the latest news, an introduction of EXPO pavilions and other facilities, an interview with influential individuals of the world, and a column.

As a general rule, the articles and images contained in the newsletter may be used freely by the press. High-resolution images for printing are provided to the extent possible, and can be downloaded from the Photo Library Page. It is our hope that the international media will utilize the EXPO 2005 AICHI, JAPAN E-mail Newsletter to disseminate accurate up-to-date information to people of the world.
