Are Michael Schumacher and the Ferrari team losing their grip? Schumi is favored to have no Grand Prix wins in 2005 according to Internet bookmaker Intertops.com.
What a turn of events! Seven time world champion of the F1 circuit, Michael Schumacher, is currently facing more turbulence in the German tabloid press than he is on the track. There is speculation that he has lost his drive and will be retiring shortly due to his struggle to even reach the podium this season. Last year Schumacher dominated the season with thirteen wins, but he is currently a massive 43 points behind the Spanish world championship leader Fernando Alonso.
The Italian team should consider "re-tiring" the Ferrari considering the problems they have experienced with their Bridgestones this season. Schumi says the team is lacking harmony but he is having a lot more "fun". Maybe he just wants to have fun rather than win ... well that will ease the pressure a little!
