CHRIST wins EUR 60 million large order
for process and potable water

Aqua Engineering South Africa (Pty) Ltd., a subsidiary of Christ Water Technology Group has been awarded one of the largest water treatment contract ever placed in South Africa, valued at EUR 60 million.
The water treatment plant consists of a pre-treatment and demineralisation facility as well as a Condensate Polishing Plant (CPP). The installation will include several state-of-the-art and proven water treatment technologies and processes.
A substantial portion of the plant design and construction will be executed locally utilizing South African CHRIST-expertise and manufacture. A skills transfer programme will be instituted as part of the Aqua Engineering SA contract.
The water treatment plant is due for completion in 2010 and the 6 units for the condensate polishing lines between 2011 and 2013.
