German National Stephan Unser has Been Appointed Chief Sales Officer of Sede AG, Effective January 1, 2007
45-year-old Mr. Unser holds a master's degree in business administration and has been appointed to the management board of Klingnau, Switzerland-based de Sede, effective January 1, 2007. As a member of a board of five directors, Mr. Unser will initially be responsible for sales in central Europe. In his new role, Mr. Unser will sharpen and improve the profile and public awareness of this premium brand for leather and fabric furniture as well as drive its expansion. The German market especially offers great potential for growth, but the Swiss brand also plans to enter new markets around the world.

Mr. Unser has proven his ability developing successful growth strategies for new products working for premium brands including Bang & Olufsen and bulthaup international. Prior to his position at de Sede, the father of three worked as Managing Director for Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH in Göppingen since 2004. In that role, Mr. Unser helped implement running restructuring measures and added the toy industry to the list of business sectors entertainment and kitchen furniture - where he had already built a reputation.
Retail marketing has long been Mr. Unser's area of expertise. Born in 1961, Mr. Unser has successfully implemented many new concepts and shopping experiences with considerable customer response. His intuition for new market developments as well as his understanding of customer and employee needs round up his qualities.
