Vienna / Waidhofen/Ybbs (euro adhoc) - The Bene Group, which is listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, continues to reinforce its international sales activities under the management of Wolfgang Neubert, newly appointed in September 2010 as Member of the Board of Management responsible for Sales, naming Søren Trampedach, 38, Chief Representative Asia Pacific as of 1 April 2011.
After appointing Gerald Sakuler Area Manager for Russia and the former CIS countries, and Christian Hecker Managing Director for Germany, with this latest step the Austrian furniture manufacturer is clearly reinforcing its activities in the Asia Pacific region. Bene has been successfully active in these markets in the past and currently has countless projects in the pipeline. Analysts are expecting very dynamic growth in this region in the coming years which will be reflected in the demand for far more than 100 million new office workspaces.
"I am pleased that we could win over Søren Trampedach for this position. With his international experience and proven expertise in the office furniture branch he will reinforce our expansion in this growth region", said Frank Wiegmann, Chairman of the Management Board of Bene Group. "Our sales net in Europe - with 37 individual locations in 17 countries - is the most dense in the branch. Further strengthening and expanding this is one important stepping stone on our path to sustainably becoming the Branch´s most successful company in Europe. By reinforcing our sales structure in Asia Pacific we have taken another important step", continued Wiegmann, who is expecting strong economic growth in this region despite the problems in Japan.
Trampedach, born in Denmark, worked for the office furniture manufacturer Haworth for eight years. During this time, he successfully built up their sales network in Asia and Australia. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of Haworth GmbH responsible for Europe. In addition to his comprehensive international expertise in the office furniture branch, Trampedach has a profound understanding of the Asian and Australian markets.
