Korrektur: LifeWatch publiziert Geschäftsbericht 2013
Neuhausen am Rheinfall, 30. April 2014 - LifeWatch AG (SIX Swiss Exchange:
LIFE) hat heute den geprüften Jahresbericht 2013 veröffentlicht. Die
diesbezügliche Pressmitteilung enthielt teilweise falsche Angaben. Richtig
ist: der Umsatz betrug USD 91,06 Mio. (nicht USD 90,77 Mio.), 13,7% (nicht
13,3%) mehr als im Vorjahr. Die Überwachungsdienstleistungen trugen mit USD
89,50 (nicht USD 89,21 Mio.) dazu bei, das sind 12,5% (nicht 12,2%) mehr

Neuhausen am Rheinfall, 30. April 2014 - LifeWatch AG (SIX Swiss Exchange:
LIFE) hat heute den geprüften Jahresbericht 2013 veröffentlicht. LifeWatch
erzielte im Berichtsjahr einen Umsatz von USD 91,06 Mio., was einer Zunahme
von 13,7% gegenüber dem Vorjahr entspricht. Die Überwachungsleistungen
haben mit USD 89,50 Mio. den Grossteil dazu beigetragen und sich im
Vergleich zu 2012 um 12,5% erhöht. Nach vertiefter Analyse der am 27.
Februar 2014 publizierten provisorischen Ergebnisse für das Jahr 2013 durch
den Verwaltungsrat wurde klar, dass zusätzliche Rückstellungen für 2013
erforderlich sind. Insbesondere die Rückstellungen für Prozesskosten und
Zahlungsausfälle mussten angehoben werden, was zu höheren Kosten von USD
3,03 Mio. vor Steuereffekten führte. Ausserdem sind ausserordentliche
Kosten in Höhe von USD 6,8 Mio. angefallen. Diese umfassen Rechtskosten und
einen Finanzaufwand in Höhe von USD 1,36 Mio., eine Einmalzahlung an den
früheren CEO Dr. Yacov Geva in Höhe von USD 1,34 Mio., eine Rückstellung
von USD 2 Mio. sowie eine einmalige Abschreibung von USD 0,22 Mio. auf das
Inventar. Das Nettoergebnis blieb dank einer Steuergutschrift von USD 5,44
Mio. positiv und es resultierte ein Reingewinn von USD 2,9 Mio. oder USD
0,22 pro Aktie.
Wie angekündigt, wird LifeWatch am 27. Mai 2014 anlässlich einer
Pressekonferenz die Resultate ihrer Unternehmensanalyse vorstellen und
detailliert über die Strategie und Aussichten der Gesellschaft informieren.
Gleichzeitig wird das Unternehmen über die Resultate des ersten Quartals
2014 berichten.
