Basel (ots)

With a completely revamped fashion concept, Manor is now offering its customers a unique and inspiring shopping experience. The new concept can be experienced for the first time in Basel and Lausanne and is part of a comprehensive modernisation initiative by Manor. It includes the brand new store design as a visual eye-catcher, a new attractive brand portfolio and, for the first time, themed worlds in the styles Contemporary, Casual and Classic. Fashion enthusiasts will find inspiration for trends and benefit from exclusive offers, services and events.

Fashion Destination Manor: The new concept goes beyond traditional fashion offerings, focuses on inspiration and customer experiences and can be experienced for the first time in Basel (from 24 October) and Lausanne (from 30 October).

What is NEW?

  • The new concept centres on a 360-degree customer experience - from the design of the shop windows to the store design, the presentation of the product range and digital communication, for example via the manor.ch web shop, the Manor app and social media. Every step of the shopping journey is carefully orchestrated to offer customers a consistent, seamless and inspiring shopping experience.
  • A curated fashion range for men and women, including accessories. The range includes new brands that are exclusively available in Switzerland and a selection that ranges from contemporary and casual to classic styles.
  • In addition to attractive prices and the latest trends, customers can also expect a deeper and attractive variety of brands that perfectly emphasise individual style. The selection appeals to fashion-conscious people who value quality and style. With inspiring outfits, trendy international brands and Manor's attractive own brand.
  • New international brand portfolio: Manor is expanding its range with about 20 additional attractive labels, including international designers and sustainable brands. For example, the following will be presented in Basel for the first time: American Vintage, Armed Angels, Someday, Hugo Red, Hugo Blue, Michael Kors, Liu Jo, Marella, Edited and Boss Orange, Maerz München, G-Lab, Ted Baker, Daily Paper and Farah. The range is adapted regionally according to trends and customer requirements. In Lausanne, for example, renowned brands such as Maje, Samsøe Samsøe and Drykorn will also be available.
  • The completely modernised store design in the women's, men's and accessories departments creates an inviting and stylish atmosphere that invites customers to linger and discover. New and digital presentation elements, appealing visuals and curated offers ensure that customers are inspired by the latest trends.
  • In addition to an inspiring shopping experience, customers also benefit from attractive promotions and exclusive events (e.g. fashion shows, styling studios) with the Manor loyalty card - an opportunity for customers to experience fashion in a completely new, personalised way. Including expert advice.

"Manor is creating lifestyle worlds to offer its customers an even more inspiring shopping experience. Our 360-degree approach, which encompasses the shop window, entrance area and sales floor, is rounded off by the use of digital imagery and social media. The new fashion concept is also part of a comprehensive modernisation initiative by Manor. Overall, our proven and popular concepts are being further strengthened and complemented with new, attractive offers for the upper mid-range,' emphasises Roland Armbruster, CEO of Manor.

Manor modernises fashion areas in 12 large department stores

The company's new fashion concept will be presented for the first time in the Manor department stores in Basel (24 October) and Lausanne (30 October). The department stores in Lugano, Vevey and Geneva will follow in 2025. Further department stores will follow throughout Switzerland the following year.

Manor is continuously developing its fashion offering and is investing around CHF 50 million in the fashion area alone in favour of the customer experience. In the coming months and years, the company will be renovating over 20,000 square metres of fashion space in 12 large department stores (Basel, Lausanne, Lugano, Vevey, Geneva, Chavannes, Emmen, Fribourg, Winterthur, Aarau, Monthey, Zurich Letzipark and Zurich city centre from 2027) in the women's, men's and accessories areas. All other department stores will also undergo selective refurbishments, whether in terms of enhancing their appeal to customers regarding the product range (international brand portfolio and Manor's own brand), the look & feel or an inspiring product presentation. In each case adapted to local conditions and customer needs.

Experience the new fashion concept

On the occasion of the opening in Basel and Lausanne, customers can expect a special experience on Saturdays, 2 November, 9 November and 16 November 2024: personal styling advice, snacks, drinks and DJ sets invite them to immerse themselves in the new Manor Fashion Destination and enjoy it to the full.
