SAP Systems Integration AG (SAP SI) cooperates with Securinfo, a recognized leader in delivering enterprise information security solutions. Through the partnership clients now benefit from an integrated solution that combines the products of Securinfo for risk, identity and access management with best practises and SAP SI's industry expertise.
The two partners aim to improve SAP application security management through the deployment of the Securinfo tools that enable customers to analyse known risks and to effectively define and securely administrate rights for SAP applications in a user-friendly way. The suite is designed to meet regulatory and legislative specific policies.
Some of the advantages of the integrated solution are improved user management, efficient and for every business unit transparent definition of rights, workflow as well as documentation of actions and decisions. SAP SI will deploy "Securinfo for SAP" as an integrated solution to control SAP application security and improve the effectiveness of SAP access and identity management. Among others the finance industry will benefit from this solution, since it has to meet high regulatory standards such as Basel II, as well as all companies, that endeavour to meet Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. For SAP SI the alliance with Securinfo is a strategic partnership that helps the company to fulfil the growing demand of its customers regarding internal control and IT-Security.
