fastmobile, the leading multimedia instant communication company who won the prestigious Best in Show award at the 3GSM World Congress 2004 in Cannes have announced several customer deployments as a prelude to their participation in the 2005 event.
Within Asia they now offer their instant communications proposition as part of the following propositions:
In China, their partner UP Tech ( http://www.myuu.com.cn ) is offering service to mobile operators. Included in this offering are extensive programs for consumer and business customers. The UU branded handset client and UU Phone offers a combination of mobile and VOIP communication services. Also included are extensive successful trials with local carriers and multiple handset vendor relationships, offering the next generation of devices and communication possibilities for the Chinese consumer and business markets.
In India with Hutch & Orange, where commercial service has been available under the brand name of push2talk, since June 2004. Service is available within Hutch & Orange network footprint, in 13 circles within India. Service is now available with Yahoo IM as an added feature of the client, with all new customers receiving 30 days of free/unlimited service with a new subscription
In Sri Lanka with Dialog - GSM, the largest mobile operator in Sri Lanka. Dialog - GSM launched commercial service in December 2004, under the brand name of Push n talk, and is offering 30 days free/unlimited service to all new subscribers to Push n Talk who subscribe for service before 31 March 2005.
And in the Korean market, their partner komobile is offering service to mobile operators in conjunction with Samsung on the CDMA network and as a pre-packaged offering with Samsung PDA's.
In Europe also they have launched with TIM of Italy and Victorvox of Germany and several other announcements are in the pipeline.
