MATCH Hospitality AG appoints Dentsu as its Exclusive Sales Agent for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Hospitality Programme

MATCH Hospitality AG, the worldwide exclusive rights holder for the FIFA Hospitality Programme until 2014, appointed Dentsu Sports Europe as its exclusive sales agent for the Middle East and Asia excluding China, Korea and Japan for the Official Hospitality Programme of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 and the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.
Dentsu Sports Europe is a 100% subsidiary of Dentsu Inc. and was founded in 2007 to capitalize on the increasing globalization in the sports business. It is based in London and is involved in the sales of sports properties worldwide. Dentsu Inc. is a leading communications company and obtains exclusive Asian broadcast rights for FIFA events until 2014 through its subsidiary Football Media Service (Singapore), as well as exclusive global marketing rights for the Asian Games through 2014 hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia based in Kuwait.
The FIFA Hospitality Programme offers guests a wide range of services such as match tickets, facilities at the stadiums (including private suites and lounges, deluxe marquee tents, gourmet catering, preferential parking, transportation, entertainment and gifts) and, for the first time, optional Full Hospitality Packages including tourism activities, accommodation and transportation in South Africa and neighbouring countries. The full hospitality product portfolio will be offered worldwide to corporations, other entities and also to individuals.
