Contrary to previous announcements of the company, the Chairman of
our Supervisory Board, Mr. Hans Georg Ahrens, will remain in office
beyond this year’s Annual General Meeting on August 12, 2004. The
same applies to the Chairman of our Managing Board, Mr. Pedro
Holzinger. The Supervisory Board has unanimously decided to extend
Mr. Holzinger’s contract because a successor for him has not yet been
found.
Westag & Getalit AG has made this decision to allow sufficient time
for the selection of a suitable successor and an appropriate
orientation period with the aim to provide for continuity in the
company’s management.
