SoftM surpasses results forecast for 2005

- Result before taxes (EBT) improves by 1.0 million Euro to approx 2.1 million Euro (previous year 1.1) - Standard software revenues increase by 20 % to 17.6 million Euro (previous year 14.7)
SoftM Software und Beratung AG (WKN: 724910), Munich has, according to preliminary calculations, achieved Group revenues of approx. 80.5 million Euro (previous year 87.5) for the business year 2005 and has thereby surpassed the projected estimate of 77 million Euro made in November. The standard software business unit revenues increased to 17.6 million (previous year 14.7). Consulting recorded revenues were 21.6 million Euro (previous year 22.9). As was the case in the previous nine months, revenues for the system integration business unit - amounting to 41.3 million Euro - remained clearly under the previous year?s level (previous year 49.9) due to significant price reductions of the Server and Storage Systems.
SoftM was able to significantly improve the result compared to the previous year. According to preliminary calculations, the EBT was 2.1 million Euro which was a significant improvement of approx. 90% compared to the previous year?s figure of 1.1 million Euro and clearly exceeded the November projected figure (1.7). The increase in the standard software unit played a significant role in improving the result in spite of limited total sales.
