Notification of Voting Rights pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz - "WpHG")
We were told in accordance with sec. 21 Paragraph 1 and 24 of the German Securities Trading Act that on 05.04.2007 the percentage holding of the voting rights in REpower Systems AG, Alsterkrugchaussee 378, 22335 Hamburg, Germany, held by BlackRock Inc., New York 10022, USA, and BlackRock Holdco 1, LLC, New York, 10022, USA, each fell below the thresholds of 5% & 3% and is now each 0.04% (3,981 voting shares). All of the voting rights are each attributable to them pursuant to Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No 6 in connection with Sentence 2 of the German Securities Trading Act. BlackRock Holdco 1. LLC is controlled by BlackRock, Inc.
Please note that the last occasion when the BlackRock holding was disclosed was on 17.07.2006, and this was disclosed in the name of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (disclosed holding of 407,992 voting rights representing 5.03 % of share capital). On 02.10.2006 BlackRock completed a merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (hence this disclosure being on behalf of BlackRock).
