No missed or unwanted calls - Orange services simple, useful and cost-free
Lausanne (ots)
With to the cost-free service "Missed call notification" by SMS, the user is informed of missed calls, and with the possibility of completely blocking calls to 0900 numbers or simply to any numbers offering erotic content, he has another useful service for free. Orange is thus offering its customers two services that are easy to use, very practical and cost-free.
Lots of people today have their mobile phone with them wherever they go. However, there are situations where they may be asked to switch their mobiles off or to "silent mode". So that Orange customers can find out which calls they missed while their mobile was switched off, Orange now lets them know via the cost-free Orange SMS "Missed call notification" service. On switching on their mobile phone, Orange customers will receive a short message detailing the number of calls received during their absence, including the caller's number, day and time of the call.
For example: You have missed 5 calls 1. +41212161010 / 10.12 /10.35 (3x) 2. +41787871016/ 10.12. / 11.05 (2x)
Orange customers will therefore also know who was trying to call them while their mobile phone was off if the caller did not leave a message in their OrangeBox. This cost-free service will be introduced in the coming weeks and will be available to all Orange customers from end December 2003. The service can be deactivated at any time by calling Orange Customer Care (0800 700 700).
Blocking 0900 numbers free of charge - better to be safe than sorry
Calls to premium rate numbers (0900, etc.) and especially to those offering erotic content can soon add up. Anyone wanting to be sure that numbers of this kind cannot be called from their mobile phone, can either completely block calls to 0900 numbers or just to those offering erotic content. This Orange service is also cost-free and can be activated or deactivated at any time by calling Orange Customer Care (0800 700 700).
